i love the end of the year. Today i cleaned out all the (wasted) paper from this long and arduous year. After sorting it into 2 piles--stuff I actually liked and am therefore keeping, and things i can't wait to get rid of--i gladly threw away the latter and filed the former away neatly. It's always quite a relief to have everything packed away into

YAY for air conditioning... lol. I remember when we were studying for Jackson's final sophomore year and we got so hot that we just decided to go to my house. :) Also, I did my major paper cleaning two weeks ago- AMAZING to get rid of worthless stuff. haha ily octwf!!

let me just say that we celebrated it at a place called Living History Farms in Urbandale, Iowa, and called it Decoration Day because that's what it was called when they established it in 1868.

yes. you would have loved it. that and the baseball game they played in costume 1870s-style.
