Dan Harmon being kicked off Community is basically the worst thing and while I'll tune in next season to see how it goes, I'm probably going to accept this season as it's true and final season. Just... I'm sorry but Dan Harmon IS Community. It's his baby. And, even though Dan can be a huge asshole and is seemingly really difficult to work with,

Ugh that sucks so much! I think a lot of Dan's jerkish moments come from him lashing out from a place of hurt because the show is his "baby" (as opposed to Chevy's kind of jerkishness.) I agree completely that he's what made the show what it is.

Like. I'm endeared to Chevy too, but from what I can tell the thing that triggered some of the Harmon vs Chevy fights were that he didn't think the tag he was supposed to do for one of the recent eps was funny so he didn't do it? Which pissed Dan off. Which... honestly it pisses me off too because it was apparently one that was largely animated and I think it's a dick move to have people essentially WASTE their time/energy to animate something that Chevy then throws out the window. Like... come on Chevy - this isn't really ABOUT you.

Dan Harmon really just... IS Community. And the cast has been throwing him so much love and solidarity on twitter and I AM SO SAD. SO SAD.
