Why am I here?

No, this post will not be about the age-old, philosophical question. But rather, it will address a more down-to-earth sort of question: why am I in northern New Jersey in January?

Given time, you become accustomed. I can almost stand summer in Houston now, so long as time outside is limited...

It isn't cold until the wind starts blowing. And snow isn't what's slippery; it's the ice.

Aside from the actual cold, what always bothered me was the bare bony trees, gray-brown grass, and white sky - it's like all the colors, the greens and the blues, have been sucked out of everything along with the heat. It makes spring extra nice, though. New leaves are such a beautiful huge relief.

I know why you are there. You are following your dream and unfortunately northern New Jersey is where you have to do it at.
I know you want it bad enough so you will stuck it up and do what needs to be done. Just look at me! I went to heck in SA and still wanting to do this teaching thing. I just needed to find my niche, you are working on yours, don't give up!
