While driving my comparatively tiny Toyota to work one day among the giantic trucks and SUVs through downtown Midland, I realized that most of the company trucks I've seen are all white.  Probably to reflect the hot sun ...

Lots of companies put logos and names on their trucks. They up better on white, is another possible reason.
