Odd Request

The Petroleum Museum has several textiles/garments that are stored on hangers.  However, the hangers currently used are NOT archival, ie. they will contribute to the garment's deterioration.  So I want to make padded hangers which will help preserve the garments ( Read more... )

Oh yeah ... I manage two budgets: Archives and Curator, which each have different accounts to charge. So I'll definitely be reimbursed for those hangers!

I drive by every day; won't be a problem to stop in.

Two packages? Do you think $4 will cover shipping? (That's about the savings between the two stores.)

Well, using the "Calculate Postage" feature on the USPS.gov website, the cheaper postage should be between $3 and $5. And as I implied above, there is no rush on this.

I know that the IKEA hangers are suitable for this project, I don't know about the Wal-Mart hangers. I'd prefer to go with what I know.
