Right now, the main two are tennis and Scrabble. And, yes, I'm dominating at both. HA. Well actually, Chelsea and I are only winning tennis on the losers' court, but that should still count for something ( Read more... )

Wait really? You were there? Well, just come to one of our orchestra practices. I'll talk to you while I'm busy playing whole notes. Actually that would be the trombone section. Or come to the concert sometime in June.

Berceuse & Finale - Stravinsky (he calls this one Firebird)
Akademische Festouvertüre - Johannes Brahms, Op 80
I pini della Via Appia - I don't know who it's by (He calls this one Pines of Rome, and it's actually the only one that has to be transposed)
Variations (I believe the theme is Enigma) - Edward Elgar, Op 36

I have played on an A clarinet before, but given that the only times I play in orchestra are the school's occasional orch winds and maybe once a year at camp, it definitely wouldn't be worth it to buy one.

Yeah, orchestra, ew. Boring and full of sharps. Oh well.

I have so much random/useless music crap after school next week! Tuesday: full orch rehearsal and MSS recording session. Wednesday: REALLY STUPID all-girls concert. EW WASTE OF TIME. Thursday: Instrumental Music concert.

Okay, so a lot of it isn't useless. But it's annoying.

At least I don't have to transpose anything...

oh god....transposing is horrid. And I thought peices with 5 sharps that switch to 6 flats were bad....
