Hey, senior recognition was cool. At least I liked it. But then again, I was one of the people being recognized so I suppose I'm biased. I kind of felt bad for all the team sitting behind us because they were staring at our butts the whole time. Our really sexy, athletic, upperclassmen butts.
Also, we need to do some serious "distance team" bonding. Don't go to Canada - stay home and have sleepovers with the cool kids.

Well, my mom and I both agreed that the recognition was a lot better this year. It's good that they had juniors from the seniors' sections talking about them as opposed to random kids who don't know them like in other years. My comment was just that compared to having the whole band play you a pretty song and cry for you, and having your section make up an amazing skit and get you nice presents (unless you're a trumpet), and wearing flowers on the last performance, and everything else mb does... it just doesn't compare. Not that that's a bad thing. I love track! It's just that they're different.
