Good morning beautiful and cuddly northern hairy-nosed wombats!
I AM POSTING THIS RIGHT AFTER HAVING PRINTED OUT A PICTURE OF LI'l SEBASTIAN TO PUT UP ON THE WALL BEHIND MY DESK!!!
I ate waffles and whipped cream during the season 7 premiere and it was a delicious way to celebrate two delightful episodes!
I got 5 books in the mail yesterday and my thoughtful partner hid them all around the house for me to find and be surprised. It made my day!
Li'l ParksCon planning is continuing and includes a beach day and a (solo, because Courtney will be working) trip to Taronga Zoo, which overlooks the harbour.
I'n tempted to watch the latest Mindy Project purely for Lee Pace reasons. Is it worth it???
In political news, the Australian public had a big win yesterday after the government had to back down a second time on introducing payments to visit a doctor. Yay for free health care!
LEE PACE was in TMP!?!?! I would say it's worth it, just for his face alone. Unless he's wearing a mask during the whole show? No, even then, you should still watch it.
PS - I did not watch it, so my option is based purely upon my love of Lee Pace.
Also, PPS - hiding books so that you can find them? Adorable! :)
I'm about 4 months into my almost year-long Round-the-World(ish) trip and it's been an adventure, for sure! We're taking time to relax (and unpack!) in Brasil until mid-February and already there are things that I will greatly miss about this beautiful country
( ... )
It's been absolutely amazing! We spent NYE in Rio and...I literally have no words for how incredible it was! I still can't believe that this is my life right now!
We head to South Africa for a month next. Then, Dubai, Greece, Turkey, Czech Republic, Denmark, Scotland, Ireland, Spain, (possibly Portugal and Morocco), Netherlands, and then back to Seattle! We just finished planning Europe, and it's still not concrete yet. We had to cut some countries out, which was SO HARD, but we'll see what we can do. :)
NYE in Rio must have been the party of a lifetime.
That sounds like a DREAM. You are hitting so many places I've always wanted to go! If you get a chance to hang in Bulgaria between Turkey and Greece you definitely should...I went there for work last Aug and it was lovely (both the city of Sofia and the people). And also very inexpensive. The Czech Rep and Ireland and very, very high on my bucket list. You must be having the time of your life. :)
Also, Seattle is my favorite city in the US outside of the one that I live in (Detroit).
No one apart from delivery guys come to our office so it was lovely, she was a cut little english lady promoting her business Cake & Cater, great name. I bought a salted caramel one, yum! Said she would come in next week with Australia Day themed ones, I hope she does.
It will be even more awesome now that I just found some 50's themed glasses on sale in Target
I could definitely go for a salted caramel cupcake right about now - that sounds delicious! What do you think would be in an Australia Day themed cupcake though?
