By the way, we're around the date that had been proposed as the end of Thursday Night Discussions if they had mostly fizzled out. Since the chat still seems to be going strong I don't see a need to end the discussions yet. I really had no idea if everyone would have forgotten about them by now! So I'm going to push that date back to... let's say August and we can reassess at that point. Love you guys!

They get out so early!! The school I was working at goes until June 19th. Anything fun for the summer planned?

oh, not much planned. We've got a family reunion to go to in July, and that's about it. But I'm sure we'll find ways to entertain ourselves.

They do get out early, but they go back in mid-August, so it balances out.

Hello lovelies! This week has been weirdly boring, with work almost totally dead, but I did get to see Mandy Patinkin perform onstage last night (FOR FREE), so that was shiny. I also essentially got paid to write porn on Monday and Tuesday, and Hana/c00kie said it was good porn, so that actually kind of made my week. Tomorrow, the boy and I are off to Virginia to see my sister graduate from college!

How was everyone else's mid-May? Does anyone want to talk about the Agents of SHIELD season finale? It left me with many more positive feelings and way less rage than Age of Ultron did.

He was great! Amazing singer, and he was paired with a guy who was much more exaggeratedly comedic and physical, so the restraint he showed by contrast was really interesting.

I just finished the AOS finale a couple of hours ago, and I liked it. I'm glad Mac is sticking around, and I hope Bobbi will be back. And Skye's journey this season was awesome. Can't wait to see her as a full-blown super-hero next season leading her team of other Inhumans (which I really hope includes Lincoln).

Fitz has def been the star of the season for me, and I'm looking forward to seeing what comes next for his character, but wtf are they doing with Jemma!!!

Also, what's the point of Ward anymore? Like, why keep him on the show? I know he has some fangirls, but I never cared for him, even before he was evil.

(And I still haven't seen Ultron. I told my girls I would take them to it once they got caught up on all their late assignments for the term, which has only just happened. Ugh.)

Sam decided that if I visit and it's baseball season, we are LEGALLY REQUIRED to go to a game. I think Minneapolis & Atlanta are next because I have friends in both places.
