So, I'm doing this weight watchers thing. I hate doing something that's so much in the public's eye, you know? I'll do it with you! But I won't eat artifial sugar. Do I have to pay or sign up somewhere? Give me details! We'll compare food diaries and complain about fat. Just like I always wanted to do when I grew up. :) Give me details!

well, they said it was. I'm 190 (well, actaully 185 since I started, lots of water weight or something) and they said I could get between 125 and 145 in the end, which would make 135 my end target weight, which is insane. But still, they may be right. My short term goal is 171. :)

squee! Yeah, you can sign up online. If you do that, you can easily plug in foods and your favorite recipes to see the point values. You can also add packaged foods to their list if they don't already have it. They have an amazing amount of products in their database already.

Alternatively, you could just by the start-up kit from their store and do it all yourself. I like having the internet resources, though.

Oh, and sugar is like 2 points for like a tsp. I only get 24 points a day. You may find yourself rethinking the sugar thing. I really want to see how many points they allot you.

There are two payment options, I couldn't figure out which one was best. I did the pay for three months up front so that I would be forced to continue for at least that long. After that it's like $17 a month. They explain it on the weight watchers webpage.
