Aw, poor Sev. I like this phrasing though.

I LOVE THIS. SO MUCH.

Seriously, this is my favorite fic so far in the exchange. It's wonderfully in-character, how he presses her and comforts her, and I just LOVE the paragraph when she kisses him. Totally realistic way to express her feelings. LOVE IT.

Such vivid descriptions! I can see it all very clearly.

“What did she say?... Lily, what did she say?” There was a silence as Lily put up one last bit of a fight. She didn’t want to hurt him, but she knew it would feel better to get it off her chest.

This is so heartening. It's been so sweet and supportive to this point, and he knows he wants her, but this is the best part. He wants to share her burden and support it with her. This is some true love, right here.

“Sev, does it really matter?”

“It upset you, so yes, it matters to me.”

I love him. How can she NOT be ass over teakettle in love with him?
