Oh, how she wished that he understood how much she felt for him.

Oh, this is a nice turn--Lily having a bit of unrequited feelings, or at least thinking they are unrequited.

This clearly shows how she could have moved on from Severus to James, and another reason for Severus to have guilt about not being able to save her.

Lyrical and sad. And such an interest take on their separation and how she made the transition away from Severus and to James. I'm really sitting here thinking, "And then what happened!" There's so much left I want to know about your world here. Thanks!
