What's new now? Um, fun time at the Ladies' Night event. Highlights were:

* the fashion show b-boys/girls who indeed lorded over that floor as their moniker suggests.

* a reminder that the radical queer scene is alive and thriving despite setbacks like Mr. Lady Records closing etc. etc.

* discovery of the most fabulous, most "me" bags on planet ( Read more... )

Yeah, I saw a tie my best friend Shanti would love, but figured she's too femme to wear it as anything but a belt, which would defeat the purpose of the sassy one-liners.

hey, i really wanted to go to that but I couldn't get the website to work for the details. and last year Lisa from Poor Little Rich Girl asked me to wear vintage dresses (model, i guess), but I was too sick. Damn.

i love the Tart bag and the capulet - can you post pictures of your finished work?

I wonder if it's illegal to sell garments you sew from a storebought pattern?

I'm fairly sure its not, I mean theres no way to prove that it WAS made from a storebought pattern, but maybe you can alter it slightly if you feel weird about it?
