SXSW: Anyone going?

I've been seriously debating it, but in the end I had to pass, favoring a trip to austin last week, all tomorrow's parties and coachella.

I'd rather go to Coachella in all honesty, but my best friend Shanti lives in Austin -- and she trumps any other travel plans. SXSW is just frosting. :)

God, it's SO NICE there now. Or two weeks ago, anyway. 80, sunny, beautiful.

Friends there don't hurt either, but if you're not into the festival, it might be worth going a less crowded weekend.

On the other hand, with the right pass or access, SXSW is a ridiculously good time.

Hey Nick! I don't post much these days, but I do try to read from time to time. Work's been so busy these it's hard to compose a decent entry!

Sorry to hear you won't make it out to Austin. It's so great that EMU gets to be part of it this year -- I'm really happy that I (and Eric especially) will get to be there for that!

If by "going to SXSW" you mean sitting in my room alone and working on one of my multiple computers...

South by Southwest, that music festival in Austin. They always abbreviate it for some reason.

Most of the bands playing are also touring the Northeast, so I figured I'd catch them locally instead. Although I hear SXSW is tons of fun.
