Also, reading back over the last year of posts: I am SO much more eloquent when I'm "suffering". And I have a lot more to say. Guess I've been happy recently.
Something about being able to understand the German coming out of Hitler's mouth when watching old speech videos on youtube makes the whole thing more real and more scary. These aren't just words on a screen. I can hear and understand what emotion or emphasis he put on each word. Just an arresting moment I had while browsing youtube.

This is why I am in love with language. I simply must go to grad school, and I simply must study linguistics. Fry sounds like he's being a wind-bag, but everything he says is spot on and perfect.
Is it bad if I kind of love iTunes Essentials' "Soccer Mom Chillout"? I clicked on it because I was appalled at the name. I hate the phrase "soccer mom". It's so short-changing and generalizing
