Having just read Walking into Legend, I have recced it on camelot_recs. I hope that is okay. I don't know if you've posted it anywhere other than the Yuletide Archive and I enjoyed it so much that I wanted to share it with other Merlin fandom people who might not frequent Yuletide.

The story is not posted elsewhere, so thank you for doing so. I've also been meaning to respond to the lovely feedback you gave me and say thank you. I'm ridiculously glad you liked Gwens's hairbrush! (And that you picked up on Gwen, because her integrity and loyalty and moral centre are right there on screen each week and it seems to me that that OUGHT to make a difference to what kind of queen she is and how the story turns out.)

(Oh and I should have said before, but I think you wrote The Hazel and the Honeysuckle? I found it heartbreakingly lovely -- poor Arthur, but so in character -- so thank you.)

I hope I managed to send some other folks over to read your beautiful fic :) You did a wonderful job of writing Gwen (I find her really difficult to write, which makes me even more impressed) and made me see her strength, which I think I had missed.

(I did, indeed, write The Hazel and Honeysuckle. I'm glad you enjoyed it!)

Thank you for such lovely feedback. I really wanted to create something that would be a happy working out of the series, with the characters keeping their loyalty and integrity etc, but that could also have given rise to the actual legends as the story of what happened was told over time.
