Mostly canon, with one notable difference. Quinn realized the mistake she was making with Finn before it was too late, confessing everything to Sam. Things were strained for a while, but eventually he forgave her. She’s seen Sam through his difficult times and discovered that Finn was wrong. She does love Sam.

You Make it Real

After the disaster that was Nationals, Quinn was looking forward to summer vacation. Three months where she wasn’t required to see anyone from Glee club. Where she could mope in peace. She didn’t count on Jesse St James sticking around, or sweet talking her mom into letting him sleep on their couch until he found his footing. It’s not so bad though, having someone to talk with who understand exactly what she’s going through. She’s not entirely sure if he actually likes her, or if he’s just trying to distract himself from what happened, but she’s in no hurry to find out one way or the other.

As soon as they were back in Lima, she set about trying to make things right with Puck. While things are occasionally, understandably, shaky, they’re finally giving their relationship another shot. She said it was to protect Quinn, to make things easier after the pregnancy, but Quinn knew the real reason her mother moved their broken little family all the way to Mystic Falls, VA was to put some distance between themselves and the divorce. Now living with her grandparents in the rebuilt Fell mansion, Quinn has to start all over, though she doesn’t necessarily have to do it alone. Drawn in by Tyler almost immediately, she’s starting to realize there may be more to Mystic Falls than meets the eye.

Dare Myself
Once upon a time, Quinn had dreams. She was going to marry her high school sweetheart. She was going to move far away from Lima. She was going to be somebody. But things happen, and plans change. It's been seven years now since she graduated from McKinley High, and her biggest move was when she got her own apartment across town from her mother. She works as a waitress at some greasy spoon little diner just outside town, and tries not to think about the failure that she's become. Her friends, the people she loved and even the people she hated, have all gone on to bigger and better things, and she's trapped in a town where time barely seems to move and nothing ever changes.
