Je vous vois, Je t'aime

When Quinn had mentioned acting as a possible career choice, she hadn't really been expecting much. It was a way out of Lima, and that was all that had really mattered at the time. Once upon a time she'd had dreams. They were always fairly simple, but one thing was always the same. She couldn't stay here. She couldn't be left behind while all her ( Read more... )

It was hard to get over your first love when their face was plastered over billboards all over town. This was the predicament Sam found himself in when he was walking down the street and saw the face of his highschool sweetheart staring back at him in a movie poster. He always knew she'd be recognized for how special she was. He was proud of her and wished he could tell her that... but they'd lost touch long ago. And not just liked it but thought back to performing for Sectionals, singing on stage with a boy whose smile was so bright it could light up the Eiffel tower if it had a blackout. All because of her ( ... )

Quinn had barely been able to sleep that night. People could argue that the shoot running late, and the mass amounts of coffee she'd consumed to keep herself alert was to blame, but that couldn't be further from the shoot. Caffeine wasn't what had her crawling out of her cozy hotel bed in the middle of the night and digging around for her laptop just so she could watch the movie. Not even the entire movie. Because while she did love it, there was only one scene that truly mattered to her. Sam was the one boyfriend she'd never really gotten over, because sometimes it seemed like they never truly got a chance. They hadn't been together very long when everything had spiraled out of control and although she had tried to fix it, there was no taking back what she had done. She had a boyfriend who adored her, and yet she went behind his back and kissed her ex.

Finally, early the next morning when the sun was just starting to come up, Quinn managed to fall asleep. With her laptop perched precariously on the bed, Dirty Dancing played on ( ... )
