He'd been at the gym when he received her call, working out some of his frustration on a heavy bag. There was something in her voice that made it sound important...just not in a bad way, at least. Jason had decided to grab a shower, knowing that he was going to meet Quinn later, he wanted to look halfway decent.
Admittedly, there were trust issues that he had, and in applied to everyone. Was he trying to get past them with Quinn? Absolutely. But it was a slow process. Electing against stopping for food, Jason headed straight for the apartment where they were going to meet up, trying to ignore the nervous feeling in his gut. He was dressed simply, just a hoodie and a pair of jeans.

Rather than go inside and wait in the hallway, which probably would have been the smarter move, she took a seat on the front steps. Their winter had been mild, and the fresh air would do her good, or so she thought.
Running through a practice script in her head, one in which she made it perfectly clear that her going off to Yale would in no way change their relationship, and once she graduated they could really be together, was doing nothing to calm her nerves. The dress looked perfect on her. Keeping his arms down at his sides, Jason could feel his lips threatening to pull in a smile, but kept it from happening...at least until he knew, good or bad what she had needed to see him about. It felt important.
Stepping in closer, he didn't immediately make a move for the door, and his eyes had yet to leave her. "Hey," he said softly, though there an underlying affection to his tone. "You look..." He didn't finish the sentence, his eyes said everything. Quinn was more than beautiful
