At church on Sunday, the Pastor talked about a boy, a friend of his son, who killed himself earlier in the week. For the past month, I've been detached from services; not able to find much meaning in the Pastor's words, or meaning in much of anything for that matter...but this service was different. And I've done a lot of thinking

Wow Lisa that was quite a powerful entry. I agree with you that the boy you spoke of had so much going for him and it is very sad that he felt the only way to solve his problems was through suicide. When you asked where God was when the boy needed his help and you make it sound like it was God's fault, but in answer to where God could have been I would say that he might have been there all along and the boy was just not ready to accept his help. You know I am not religious or anything but don't make something like this question your belife in God, because I know it has helped you find who you are and has helped you through some tough times. Also, I just wanted to tell you how great you are with words and how you can always touch someone through your writing. I love you Lisa!!!
