This is a Supernatural entry

Today I finished watching Supernatural season six. I know, I know, LATEST. But I didn't really like last season and then they got rid of the wonderfully entertaining robo!Sam, so I took a bit of a break from the show.
Taking a break usually helps when I start to get bored with a show. :)

lmao, robo!Sam perfectly describes him without his soul.

I loved Frontierland, with Dean all ready in what he thought they wore in the western days lol.

Well he does act like a robot! XD

lol and everyone there made fun of his clothes. "Nice blanket." XD
I loved it when he became the sheriff. that was funny.

I was dying, and Sam was like I'M NOT WEARING THAT. Good choice Sam because everyone thought Dean was wearing a blanket while shattering his dreams.

Ahahaha yes that was priceless. XD

I loved it when they got the Sam's phone in the mail at the end. XD

I liked Frontierland because I fell in love with this game my brother has a while back... Red Dead Redemption and everything western reminds me of that game now lol. It could have been better - the episode - like screw the Cas scenes lol. And too clean sets haha. But thats being picky.

Ep 22 was like the dream for a limp Sam fangirl haha. And worried Dean... oh my heart... the end was a sucky disaster though lol

I like Castiel (I like all of the characters :P) so I liked those scenes. :P

lol I'm more of a BAMF!Sam girl, but I loved those scenes too. Sam killing robo!Sam was really great, I thought. and then he was all BAMFy at the end too.
I'm just worried what will happen at the start of next season when Castiel is all "bow down" and the guys are all "nope, not gonna happen.".

lol a lot of people like hurt Sam so it's not like it's uncommon. I like how they made an episode that appealed equally to hurt Sam and BAMF Sam fans. That was nice writing! XD

Awww. Are you still watching? Because then maybe you could take a break, that worked for me.
I mean the "arc" were so stupid this season but after enough time has passed you kinda start missing the characters and then when you start watching again it's like "YAY IT'S SAM AND DEAN :D" and that makes the show waaay better.
Plot, what plot? ;)

Ah, I get that! I've lost interest in this show several times (it's just so sad. and depressing. and everyone keeps dying all the time. :( ) so I get what that's like.

S6 was such a disappointment in the end, for me personally. I actually liked it in the beginning, and was one of the very few who defended it when others went all "Bleh, this is stupid.", but... after the finale I'm so incredibly meh about this show, it's not even funny anymore.

I did like Frontierland though. I thought it was really well done. And all the Sam scenes in the finale, inside his head, with those 3 different Sam's. That was awesome. Other than that? Bleh. I don't like Godstiel, and I'm not looking forward to having him in S7. I'd rather they'd have killed him off, like they planned, than to kind of more or less destroy what pretty much the entire fanbase liked about the character :/

ANYWAY. Shutting up now, lol.

Aww. I didn't like season six or season five. But I still like the characters. And after this long time has passed and with I'm still not liking the plot any better than I did in season five, I'm just watching for the characters instead.
The bit with roboSam in the first half of season six were gold, though. I just LOVED him.
But it's definitely not one of my favorite shows anymore. :(

Frontierland is my second favorite episode from this season. The one with the alien abduction is my favorite.

I'm guessing I'm in the minority for liking Godstiel, then? Hmm. :/

Yeah, all that build-up for Eve, and then... That. A little anticlimatic.

And uh, no, really not happy with the memory wipe either. Also, I still firmly believe that Dean IS Ben's father, whether she actually knows who it really is or not. My story, has been since 3.02, and I'm sticking to it. *gg*

I guess they do come full circle with God!Cas in a way, but, eh. DNW.

It would have been great if she'd just been a one-ep bad guy. But that was not a good enough resolution on the Eve plot line!

I think Dean is Ben's father, too. Like, WHY would they have made such a huge thing of pointing out all the similarities between them otherwise?

I am like the only SPN fan on LJ who doesn't hate the whole Godstiel thing, aren't I? XD

Nope, it wasn't. Felt a little like they were rushing things towards the end of the season.

Exactly. Headcanon, right there, and nothing's gonna change my mind on that. *nods*

Pretty much. :P

Yeah, the rushing to the end of the season thing is so true. They should have just done that thing they did in BtVS s6 when they switched big bad focus at the end of the season, and have one of the new bad guys take out Eve.
That would have been more dramatic, added a "oh shit this new big bad totally took out Eve, who the Winchesters have failed to kill all season! aaah!" and been waaaaay better.
But instead we got a stupid CotW-esque resolution. >:(

Definitely. *nods too*

Well, if only one fan could be happy with the current plotline, I am very happy that I am that fan. :P
