• Dexter 701 [Spoiler (click to open)]HOLY SHIT! THAT WAS AWESOME. Oh, I kept forgetting to breathe. I love this show. Oh Deb, you are amazing. And Dexter, your lies and excuses were reaching Stiles Stilinski levels of bad towards the end there, so it's not surprising Deb figured it out. And oh god she found everything. Next week is going to be intense!! :D \o/

Doctor Who made me cry when Amy and Rory were on the roof together, and Rory talking Amy through why jumping was the right thing for him to do. And the part where River was holding Amy's hand in the graveyard and Amy told river to be a good girl and look after him. But mostly I was confused about the how and why of it all. In the end I think it was a little too vague and abstract for me, Amy and Rory being somewhere else and having lived their lives. So I didn't really feel sad.

Oh, and I cried at the end, with the little Amelia and the suitcase part, because I always cry at that part.

I guess it's kind of odd that I can cry at least three times during a forty-minute episode and still call it a 'not sad' episode. :/

I guess it wasn't as sad as it could have been? You could have ended up crying twice as much. :P

I think it was a sad episode for being a Moffat episode - dude is fond of happy endings and "everybody lives!" - but it wasn't sad compared to other episodes written by other writers (like Vincent & the Doctor, good gawd).

It's a reasonably happy ending for the Ponds, living out their lives together (on planet Earth even!), but it was pretty sad for the Doctor.
