I pretty much feel like a horrible person and nothing anyone can say will make me think otherwise.

Ugh.

The thing that is really hard, and really amazing, is giving up on being perfect and beginning the work of becoming yourself.

My best friend is better than yours.

Simple as that.

So, Jake surprised me with flowers today. He took the night off and drove here from CT. He came into work to give them to me. It was awesome.

I went to the mall with Caroline...which was a hilarious time.

Then I came back here for some Jake time. It was nice.

I enjoyed today a lot.

All the nights we stayed up talking and listening to eighties songs....quoting lines from all those movies that we loved. It still brings a smile to my face. I guess when it comes down to it, being grown up isn't half as much fun as growing up....

This past weekend was pretty much the most drama free fun that I've had in a very long time. I really enjoy all of the new friends I've made as well as seeing the ones I've known for years. The downfall of it all is the fact that I now have new people to miss when I'm at school ( Read more... )

I had an amazing weekend with amazing people. I think I need to play charades more often. Funniest night of my life.

So, school starts again tomorrow....and I'm not really looking forward to it AT ALL. I've made a lot of really great friends this break...and I caught up with old ones. I will be back a lot on weekends, I know that much. Going back means I get to see Allison and Laurel, that makes me happy. Plus, my brother is there now and that is comforting too ( Read more... )
