So I have this friend who is going through a rough time. She has found herself in the middle of a huge mess and it may have cost her someone she really seems to love. things are getting better...and things will get better...and i'm not just talking about me. advice that anyone gives is always tainted with our own experience...which is why we're able to give advice to others. things will work out how they'll work out whether people give me advice or not. my friends are wonderful people...some of whom i've never even met in person yet. but they can still give me advice. sometimes it's an outside view that isn't intimate with the situation who can offer the best advice, because it's not filtered by any certain view, it's just the pure truth. kinda like how it's sometimes when you take yourself out of a situation is when you have your moment of clarity. and if i'm blind...i can't think of anyone better to lead me than a blind person, because they know what i'm going through. :) come visit me at work sometime! i'm in the photolab area.

Your advice probably isn't that tainted. It is much easier to look at other peoples' situations and be pragmatic than when it comes to our own personal lives. In the case of the blind leading the blind, their other senses (smell, taste, hearing, etc.) become much stronger to make up for the lack of sight.
