I am a ball of stress

I need some sort of release for all of this stress. I go out with friends from time to time, but I find that I am more and more quiet in their presence. I catch myself daydreaming frequently. I have no opinion on where to go or what to do. I am not getting enough restful sleep. I am lonely for female companionship, but am unable to introduce myself ( Read more... )

im seeking therapy and it helps when i cooperate... have you tried to seek it at all? or have u been trying to fight this alone?

I pretty much do everything on my own these days. I don't know that therapy would would have an effect, positive or negative, in my situation. I have already considered my situation from every angle that I can imagine. At this point it is a matter of me still missing the woman I loved and the child I raised. Talking about it makes me think about it. Thinking about makes me hurt. Trying to ignore my feelings is useless when I live in a town full of memories, both happy and sad. I try and deal with it as best I can. The only thing I can do to be happy is let go of my feelings, but my heart is not yet ready to do that.

It's a conundrum.

I am pretty sure getting a puppy would do little to improve my love life. But I wil look into it. lol creepy.

On the contrary...getting a puppy will improve your love life. See...you need to get a really cute puppy and then take it for some walks/romps in the park...girls loooooove puppies...and thats a good converstation starter at least. All the while you can at least have something to love who will love you unconditionally.

I agree, puppies are useful for picking up girls and they are great companions. Just not THAT kind of companion!
