Flatter me with exclusivity

It occurs to me that I feel more satisfaction being on a buddy list that has less than 20 people on it. It makes me feel as if I am part of something more exclusive. I appreciate the IDEA that someone is trusting me enough to give me a glance into their life, as opposed to someone who has no standards. I know it's more likely that these folks are
