I finally remembered to write down my mailing address and bring it to work. Of course, no one actually checks Livejournal anymore, and my access to myspace is restricted, so hopefully this will find it's way to some of the right people ( Read more... )

I'm not sure if they have them in Germany but Columbia makes this jacket called a 3 in 1. It has an outer shell that's kinda like a windbreaker but a removeable fleece lining. The 3 in 1 idea comes in because you can wear both together, one or the other. It doesn't sound like much but it has kept me sooooooooooooooo warm. They are around 150 bucks but well worth the money. If anything else in the spring you can have a nice windbreaker/raincoat too.

AIT sucks but you know what you can come back. I bet they would find some where to stash you. I miss having your great attitude. Life is so gloomy here now. At least I get to go home for 2 weeks on your birthday.

How long does it take to send things to germany? I've never sent anything out of the country before.

I miss you Melissa. I read one of your Blogs recently, and it made me sad to read that things were sucking so bad for you. I hope everything works out for you, I really do, but if it doesn't, just remember... Washington isn't the only place with people that care about you. Keep your chin up.

hey, hang in there buddy.
youre right in that itll start to get better once you get a car and have the ability to get outta there....can you take buses into the city?
anyway, its just like anytime in life you move to someplace new, and you just havent made friends yet.
itll happen...till then, merry christmas!
