I met with the doctor at the Transgender Health Program today. Actually, I met with a student intern first, which freaked me out a touch because I thought that I had fallen into the "needs a second opinion" category. what is "facial feminization surgery" exactly? i mean... what do they change? i know that there are structural differences, but i am so interested in what that entails! also, electrolysis warning: i had my underarms done and HOLY WOW IS THAT PAINFUL.

The surgery would make my face closer to shape and size to an average female (forehead, brows, nose, cheeks, lips, chin, jaw, and adam's apple shaving). I think that I would mostly be interested in the nose and chin, but electrolysis would be a first step. I'm not sure if I could afford surgery, but it's definitely on my dream list.
