I just reached 50,000 words on my novel.  Which I can officially call a novel now, since most of the publishing websites I've been checking out draw the line between novella and novel at 50,000 words.  Funny thing, though, is that these same sites also say a novel is typically between 50,000 and 150,000 words.  There's no way I'm a third of the way

Wow, heck of a coincidence for me to be making this post right now with that going on. But no. I'm attempting to write a good novel.
