Spectrum

I'm thinking about sending an entry for Spectrum 15.  Spectrum is an annual series of nice big ol' glossy art books that claim to be "The Best in Contemporary Fantastic Art."  A panel of judges, who are basically legendary Sci-Fi/Fantasy artists like Frank Frazetta and Brom, pick about a hundred  works of art produced over the past year to be ( Read more... )

I LOVE Spectrum. I didnt know BROM was on the panel, he got a first place award last year for best painting, or something, for The Plucker (which I LOVE).

I think all of them have potential, but judging based on what Spectrum puts out, I would tighten them all up digitally, using Photoshop and a tablet, since they seem to print very digitally enhanced work. Good luck! <3

Whichever one I choose to submit will definitely look much better than they do now. Mainly I just need to compensate for the poor work they did at the graphics lab when making these files.
