Eh, personally where my loved ones are definitely affects me. It's human nature to feel that way. The death of a loved one is exponentially worse to us than one of a faceless civilian. Perhaps that's why people are fine going to war...would anyone put themselves/theirloved ones in the place of a dying civilian if it would ensure getting Saddam?

You misunderstood what I said Vijay. Of course I'm affected by my dad being in the area of the war. What I said was that my worrying for him doesn't change the fact that I agree with what we're doing.
No misunderstanding allowed! We must all understand everything one another says--miscommunication and not caring to understand what people really meant or not caring to communicate is a great deal of what got us into this mess in the first place (I think). So Jonathan and Vijay--you are hereby ordered to have NO MISUNDERSTANDINGS. Do I make myself clear?
