Sometimes you just need to call your mom.

And ask her to lend you five hundred dollars. I hate asking for money. I haven't asked either of my parents for money since I came to college, but I needed to ask for help. More importantly, I need to learn to ask for help when I need it more often ( Read more... )

If you do go for the train, I wish you all the best.

My mom and I opted for the train once when we went to New York because we both are bad flyers.

Let's just say, I LOVE planes now.

I'm a great flyer. I am not, however, interested in spending over 300 beans to get home. I figure I'm in no hurry, and my father won't fly (he doesn't fit in the average airplane seat and is too embarrassed to buy two...), so I might as well accompany the old man on the way back. It will be... interesting.

I'm kind of excited about it. I mean, even if it's shitty, it's definitely something worth writing about. Just another long, bizarre adventure-- kind of like four years of college.

Oh, it was a memorable experience, no doubt. It really wasn't all, it only got rough when it was around 3 AM and I could. not. get. comfy. in those seats. Though the snoring people around me didn't seem to have much of a problem.

;)

I'm sure you'll enjoy yourself though :)

the train sounds like fun. ive never been on one but i've heard mixed reviews. i think its better for writers who like things to be peculiar, and people who don't have to worry about getting anywhere on time to pick up a flight.

when is your last day in St Aug?

Now my mother is trying to convince my da to ride down and back with her in the diesel Jetta. Which would be awesome, I could pack the car and not have to ship absolutelyeverythingiown home. BUT then my dad would have to spend 20 hours in the car with my mom... we'll see what happens. Either way, my last day in St. Augustine will probably be graduation day (April 21st) or the day after.

Can I borrow some of those books you borrowed from Dr. Robbins for over spring break?

May that last paragraph is the perfect beginning to your next book. Way to make me smile.
I miss you.
Wow.

I miss you too darlin!
Turns out they're driving to get me, but I think it will definitely still be a noteworthy subject for writing... being that my mother and father will be stuck in a car together for 20 hours and they've been divorced for 20 years...

Miss you miss you.
