Busy time for me

Yesterday was the Sephardic Food Festival at my temple. For those of you who are Ashkenazi or goyyim, you have no idea what you are missing!!! Such delicious food!!! Our stands included food from Cuba, Israel, Iran, Iraq, Morocco, Egypt, Turkey and Rhodes. And there was a great band playing; of course I just had to get up and dance along with

did you know that technically, jews from iran and iraq are NOT sephardic - they are of babylonian origin and known as "mizrahi" or "eastern."

I remember hearing that. Our temple has many Iranian and Iraqi families. It seems though that the only two that you hear most about are Sephardic and Ashkenazi.
