So today was my first day working back at the café. Which was nice. It's a good café, a solid café, a blue café. A café that serves Illy caffe...always has done and always will, and that certainly makes it an A-OK place in my books.

Today I:
- spilt a bottle of milk all over my shoes, including some inside the actual shoe

oh yes, they do! especially this one. but - let's face it. you're good. we all are. we know, though (had to fight with myself not to put "however", AND won! hurray! am I cured for good?), that there is a darker side to it, i.e. not seeing your family and friends, not being able to have a decent SHORT-distance relationship, spending awful amounts of money on basically uninteresting things like lightbulbs, plastic garbage cans or this little thingy you put soap on, and this every time you move into a new appartment. which means every year.

... but if you're still alive after all this, why not try bathing in other people's admiration? have you ever thought you might deserve it?
