One of my language students asked me yesterday what the purpose of the "Present Perfect Continuous" in English was.

Uhm.

I haven't got a bleeding clue, frankly. Not too sure I even know what the damn thing IS. Does this make me a bad person

Dis, le present perfect continuous, c'est pas "I've been doing this for hours" ou un truc de ce genre ???
Anyway. I realized that since I'm here, I ALSO have then problems to speak in FRENCH. Sometimes I even doubt about the real existence of some words.
