fav easy dessert

It's simple, so good and really quick. Split a banana lengthwise, so that you have two halves. Don't do like John and just make a split in the banana. Then make a slit along the length of each half. Take pieces of chocolate and stuff 'em in the slits. Then stick it under the broiler until the chocolate melts. It's some serious good stuff.

mm, i love baked banana desserts!

have you ever tried taking a half-nanner, spooning sugar on top of it (maybe 1tsp) and hitting it with a meringue torch? then maybe sprinkle some cinnamon on top of that. and try with brown sugar, too. heaven, and so simple. sheeit i am *so* going to make that for valentines day dessert tomorrow! yay!

might also work under the broiler, but i just like using meringue torches!

Cinnamon, I put cinnamon on my choco-nanner last time I made it and I think that made it even better.

I hang my head in shame, I have no meringue torch.

It does work under a broiler, I've done the sugar thing as well, and I like the brown sugar better.

Here's mine: Grab handful of chocolate. Shove in mouth.

Seriously tho, berries with heavy double cream and sugar has to be my all time favorite.

When I was a kid we lived next to a dewberry patch. I'd go over and pick a bunch of really ripe berries and we would eat 'em with cream and sugar. It was worth all the scratches I got.

Have you tried Chocolove's Ginger Crystallized in Dark Chocolate?

Ooh, I've only tried the cherries and almonds, and the extra strong dark of course.
