A few warnings about world of warcraft, and hence why I don't play it.

1. It's like playing a cartoon.
2. If you were a fan of the original WarCraft series, this MMO has ruined the canon of it (kinda like how some people felt about the Special Edition Star Wars Trilogy and the Prequels).
3. 5 million subscribers, MAYBE 100,000 of them are even remotely mature enough to type ENGLISH in the chat tabs.
4. If you're not guilded, you're nobody. If you've never run this raid or done this PvP, you're nobody. You're a noob forever unless you learn "secret handshakes."
5. It may be by design and stability the best online game of all time, but when you take these figures into consideration, it's a game that's honestly too big for its own good.

What Chad said. Chad speaks the truth. The game is evil.

Damnit, you're a Star Wars fan. Play StarWarsGalaxies - at least SOE finally managed to unfuck the game we all thought was FUBAR as of November 15th, 2005. It's fun to play again, and no one is safe from Sagardon Kahn the Bounty Hunter >:)
