Angelo smiled to himself, glad she's said he could go with her. There was something about Chloe that got to him and any time he got to spend with her was good time. He glanced over at her and smiled happily especially today.

As Chloe walked alongside Angelo, a soft smile graced her lips and she glanced over at him. "How are you adjusting?"

"I'm getting the hang of things. Some of the kids are pretty interesting you know?" He smiled over at her.

She nodded enthusiastically, a lock of blonde hair falling in her face. "They tend to keep us busy as staff members."

"I'm keeping an eye out for trouble just in case,"he patted her hand.

"Because we're..." She leaned in, whispering in his ear. "Mutants?" The memory of their first kiss - on the night they first met - came to the surface as she felt the warmth of his skin.

He shrugged a little,"Remember the shape I was in when we first met?" Angelo turned his head staring at her lips.

She bit her bottom lip subconsciously as she nodded, frowning at the mention of his injuries. "How do you feel now?"

He smiled down at her, hands gently stroking her sides.

Chloe bit her lower lip shyly and found herself ducking her head a little. This was the second time they'd kissed and she still felt that spark whenever their lips touched and wasn't sure how to react other than by being shy.

Angelo grinned a little,"I really like kissing you Chloe."

"I- I like it too..." She smiled and licked her lips.

Angelo smiled as they came out of the store books in hand,"So you want to head back or maybe grab a bite to eat?"

Chloe checked her watch and smiled sheepishly. "I should head back... Haylie's waiting for me."

"Oh yeah ok,"he nodded looking down at the sidewalk.

"Would you want to come with me and we could have lunch in the garden?" She asked quickly, blushing.
