Lethe Press welcomes Tanith Lee to the fold!

Jul 26, 2009 10:14

Starting in 2010, small press Lethe Press, which specializes in speculative fiction, and gay and lesbian fiction and poetry, will re-publishing World Fantasy Award winner Tanith Lee’s lesbian fiction, written under the nom de plume Esther Garber.  Dark, erotic and with a trace of the gothic, these tales were ‘channeled’ through Lee by the allusive Garber.  Those enamored of Lee’s rich, fever dream style will find much to admire.  The stories vary in scene, from period pieces in fin de siecle France, Egypt of the 30s, and contemporary England.    Lethe will publish a slightly altered version of the collection Fatal Women (featuring the new story “Femme Fatale”), the short novel 34, and the never-before-published collection Disturbed By Her Song.
