This afternoon's literary purchase has an Alan Moore quote on the front page. Random Googlage tells me it's from his (only) prose work Voice of the Fire. In true Pavlovian fashion, I thought of you as soon as i saw it.

D'awww, thankyou. My brother threatened to set my hair on fire (again) this afternoon because I was tearing around the house yodelling about something-JEH-or-other for, oh, a couple of hours today, so it's nice to know that not everyone in the world is prejudiced against crackedness.

So I borrowed some Sin City instead - books, er, 2, 5 and 6, I think. I was very naughty and actually had a bath (water restrictions be damned! Though it was only a *small* bath. Don't smite me!) this afternoon and gobbled them all down in about an hour. Fabulous! And so so so gorgeous - I want to try and do some Watchmen art in the style, though it's a dreadfully unfitting style - basically I think I just want as excuse to trick Dan out in some super huge false lashes.
