Before I forget...the cop came by the other night to return the stuff they took to fingerprint. Turns out there was nothing on them, they figure the thieves used gloves - apparently they weren't quite as stupid as we thought they were

I was just talking to him (them) about the steel reinforcing, and he was showing me how it's built into the doorframe. It's also a much better design than the plate that the other guy attached the night of. His underling was listening to the conversation (he's still learning) and he's like "don't builders put these plates on all frames?" "Nope." "But then you could just kick the door in!"

Yeah, something like that. :)
