A cruise, in review

Whew, what a busy week. I need a vacation, post vacation. Since we got home last week, we've been cleaning, doing laundry, and basically trying to get back into our regular pre-vacation routine. I'm finally almost happy with the state of the house ( Read more... )

It looks like it was all so heavenly... the photo of you on your balcony reading, with the ocean as your view made me turn to swsboy and gasp about how we have to go on a cruise someday. I can imagine there are few things in life more beautiful/relaxing than that. :)

I believe we had recently pulled out of Grand Cayman at the time the pic was taken. Our dinner was a late seating, 8:30, so we had to kill time between leaving the port and dinner :).

I think that's why they take your passport at the beginning, so you don't have to worry about all that stuff, they register you in the country on your behalf. We made sure to always carry our ship card though, just in case - we needed it for getting on and off the boat, so at least they could track who we are that way. But yeah, I think they take your passports at the beginning just to make it easier for everyone.
