Never a dull moment with you and your family, eh Bob? ;-)
Your son must belong to a conservative or Orthodox synagogue? When I had my Bar Mitzvah we went to Shabbos services Friday night, and then the actual Bar Mitzvah service was Saturday night. I practice reform Judiasm, so it is less strict, or some might say less observant than the Conservative or Orthodox movements.
Yeah, it's late. Burning the midnight oil for "el trabajo" I need to get to sleep.
Nope, never a dull moment. And yes, they are conservative. Although I do have to admit, even last night as I was writing out the details of this most recent post, I found myself thinking "I've gotten to know some very good folks on LJ, but who really wants to know about my life?" I guess I'm still a little self-conscious and new to this whole process, and it does feel good to share. It is just a little bit odd sometimes, however.
I understand. My LJ friends list is pretty small...that's just been my choice. I figure if someone wants to hear what I have to say, they'll add me on, if they think I'm boring, or blah, they will drop me off.....
You, my intelligent friend, can at least in your 30's hold a job. This guy cannot and has stopped looking, figuring my sister can just support him. Sad, and he's verbally abusive.
When my Mom came off the plane, I asked her what it would cost the family to keep loser boy down in Florida for good. She pondered for a moment, and then scolded me. But she thought about it!
