Yesterday wasn't pretty around here. I was already worried about one kid and then another succumbed to migraine twice in one day. You can feel pretty lousy about your parenting when you initially assume that a child is being whiny and then realize in the following minutes that he actually has a migraine. And it was hot, the house didn't cool off

I bought a swim suit this year. I am not sure what the interwebs say about moms in bathing suits apart from the bikini controversy. I haven't worn a bikini since highschool though. I'm happy with the "granny suits"

It sounds like a successful day, especially the part where you had shredded beef tacos. I make those from time to time. I'm not 100% positive that we are doing it right, but they sure taste nummy.

I have become very spoiled when it comes to air conditioning. But when we move back, there will be no air conditioning. Remember that rat we had a few years ago? It chewed through a wire and Barry says he doesn't want to replace it this year because he has a whole bunch of work to do on the house. Hopefully, we have a mild August. July has been pretty mild so far.

We decided to not put our pool up this year either. Thankfully, we haven't needed it too much.
