I think there should be NO government sanctioned marriages AT ALL. Everything should be Civil Unions. Marraiges shoul be left to churches etc.

I am for a radical notion that Civil Union should be to all and any consenting adults . If 4 of them want to be together...well, great. Actually, if relatives want to do it, I do not care either. It is not like preventing people from legalizing their relationship is the same as preventing them form having sex. People do weird thing that might seems disgusting to me...but as long as they are adults of the same spcieces, it is their business and no one elces.

Animals, like children, can't give informed consent. So....I am agains sheep -human marraige

What about inanimate objects? Do we then, in your enlightened and bigotry-free society, shun those guys out there that have a much more romantic relationship with their cars and gardening tools than they do with their wives. And I don't know how outspoken your female readers are, but no doubt at least some of them would agree that a well constructed shower head...

YOu know, Reall Dolls and such...sure. Why not. Inanimate objects do not have a soul, hnece no consent issue

I have some ideas for a commentary with a Behavioral Economics/Herd Mentality twist but it's been taking a while to research it and to put my facts together while the whole thing keeps unraveling.
