I've noticed over the last few months, perhaps a year or more, of just how much our world is slowly turning into some few cyberpunk stereotypes and oddities.  While not completely there, we still lack much (but not all, it's subtle) of the dystopian landscape available or noted in many if not all cyberpunk literature and media. Alistair Cooke, the guy who hosted Masterpiece Theatre, had some of his bones and other tissue stolen after his death. Bones and ligaments and other components are regularly harvested, processed in labs, and sold to hospitals for implantation. The company who got busted selling Cooke's 95-year-old, cancer-ridden bones had been known to pay $1000 per corpse provided to them ( ... )
