I just want to send out my thanks to Hurricane Jeanne for scaring people enough to shut down my school on Monday.

I doubt anything will happen. Considering we got nothing but rain from the 7 other hurricanes that have threatened us in the past month. But I am glad to have another day to work and sleep late.

So thanks again Jeanne!

The Webster's Dictionary definition of sober is b : not addicted to intoxicating drink c : not drunk

So yes. I had a beer. I never said I was not going to drink at all. I'm just not getting drunk. I am not an alcoholic, i have no need to keep away from the stuff ccompletely. I had one beer. I don't have more than one drink in a night.

I wasn't saying you were lying. But it's kind of funny that you blew up and tried to explain yourself.

When people from AA say, "I've been x days/months/years sober", it usually means without a drink at all.

i didn't blow up. i felt insulted and that there was a need to explain.

And i'm not in AA, so i don't think that applies to me.
