OMG! YAY! Someone else as pissed off about the Elmo-izing of Sesame Street as *I* am!

I don't trust that fuzzy red bastard. I think he's trying to take over Sesame Street for his own nefarious purposes. I think he's secretly running guns for the mafia and using his cute street cred to get in places that no one else could. I bet he's a fuzzy little Mafia hitman.

OK, so I may have gone a bit far with the Elmo hate. Forgive me. I have the hangover from hell, and the daycare center across the lake has apparently decreed that this morning is "shove all the children outside and get them to scream as loud as they can" day.

I demand a de-Elmoed Version. Pfffft. Stupid Elmo.

yes...i don't know that he's a hitman, but i do hate the way he's been forced onto every aspect of the show, like he's its spokesmuppet or something...umm, NO!

maybe i can find out where CTW is based (prob in NY) & protest...wanna make anti-elmo signs? ;)

Elmo sucks at life. He's been shoved down everyone's throats for the past like 10 years or so, and it's sickening.

Cookie monster's where it's at. Can't go wrong with a cookie-loving cross-eyed blue muppet. Also Snuffie is a personal fave of mine too. Glad they're on the cover, although one is upside down and the other is on the back.

I was a child of the 80's but I dont remember this movie at all. lol

I did watch sesame street I think but not a lot.

it came out in 1985, so i guess it was big through when i was a toddler but had maybe kind of faded a bit by the time you were 3 or 4? *shrug*

Probably since I was born in 86. i remember watching a lot of Sniorks, Smurfs and my little pony oh and gummi bears and care bears.
