Lazy monday morning
I am lying in bed, listening to This American Life...this is the perfect morning to me. In the last few years my perceptions have widened a crazy amount. Not just reading about other cultures and countries and people, but seeing it,listening to opinions on it, and discussing it myself. How come I didn't notice it rained as much when I was in Belfast?? It's pissing down here again...actually I think it could be because I have a massive window that I can't help but look out of and see the rain. Also my house has a metal roof haha. So, just got back from uni...had one class which didn't start til like 20 past 2 then went til 4 with a 5 minute break in the middle. Weird. All about 2nd language acquisition stuff, with a pretty funny German lecturer. So, had better re-cap on the fun I've been having in Århus so far! On Thursday (before chatting to Morten in the evening) I went out on my bike...managed to find Brabrand Sø (the lake in my neighbourhood) which has a cycle trail the whole way round it. late night talks with danish neighbours
Was just down in the common area for about 4 hours, chatting to Zsuzanna and Morten, then later just Morten. He's a really cool guy! Well...this is kinda spur of the moment. But I was on lj on another username...I never use the hotmail account it's linked to anymore, and I felt like a change. Because I'm in a new place!
