It took me a week to read a book. One book. This is the girl that used to read at least a novel a day. I guess I just don't have the time and/or reading stamina that I used to ( Read more... )

congratulations on bu! i live in newton, which is right outside boston, so i'll have a lot of friends there next year. i just decided on connecticut college, and it's the biggest weight off my shoulders ever/makes me really scared to leave. so basically, i know how you feel.

Getting into college is definitely a double-edged sword, butttt I have to say that it's looking better and better with time :].

Congratulations! Boston University is one of my top choices for college next year. If you don't mind my asking, how did you do in school, in terms of GPA/SATs and all?

But anyway. Congrats! I wish I was a senior, you're all so lucky, being practically done with high school and knowing where you'll be for college. Even if it does seem scary.

Unweighted, my GPA is officially a 93 or 94, but that's with basically all my cores being AP or college level. With the weight, I had something like a 101.3. I think. I don't know, I'm 19th in my class out of 600, if that gives you a better picture.

On my SATs I got a 2030. I also took the SAT IIs, which are required for BU unless you take the ACT (which I did not.) Hope that helps :].

Getting into college was basically the best thing that happened to me, haha. I mean, it's scary knowing I'll be leaving, but the pressure is completely off with high school. It's like playtime now.
